PURPOSE:To efficiently remove NOx from waste combustion gas contg. oxygen. CONSTITUTION:Waste combustion gas contg. oxygen is brought into contact with a catalyst contg. one or more kinds of active metals selected among the groups Ib and VIII metals of the periodic table and sulfate groups in zeolite in coexistence with hydrocarbon to remove NOx from the waste combustion gas.
