<p>PURPOSE:To provide a bed for use in a vehicle, which prevents the head portion of a wounded person from moving in its vertical direction when the vehicle is decelerated, thereby restraining fluctuations in the blood pressure of the wounded person. CONSTITUTION:A bed for use in a vehicle, in which a frame 12 on which to place a stretcher 10 for a wounded person is supported to the floor 14 of the vehicle. The vehicle bed includes a hydraulic cylinder 26 which raises and lowers relative to the floor 14 that end portion of the frame 12 which is located on the side of the head portion of the wounded person, a lifting means 16 consisting of a directional control valve 40 and a pump 42, a deceleration sensor 18, and a controller 20 which controls the lifting means 16 according to signals from the deceleration sensor 18.</p> |
