Process and device for catalytic cracking of a hydrocarbon feedstock including a stage of contacting the said feedstock, under cracking conditions, in a reactor (100) into which the feedstock is introduced via the conduit (30), the catalytic solid is introduced via the conduit (70) and the gas for entraining the solid is introduced via the conduit (80) the reactor is connected by a conduit (1) to a concurrent cyclone separator (S) enabling a solid phase to be separated from a gaseous phase containing the cracking products, which is recovered via the conduit (4). The solid phase is conveyed, via the conduit (9), after having been subjected to at least one stripping stage in the separator (S) or in a stripper (ST), to a regenerator (90) in which the catalyst particles are at least partly regenerated before being returned, via the conduit (70) to the reactor (100). <IMAGE>
