摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain clear pictures so as to realize a multi-point video conference with presence by displaying the video of a speaking point from the video of another point in an enlarged state while the videos of all points attending the conference are dividedly displayed. CONSTITUTION:A voice detecting section 7 measures voice levels and specifies speaking points upon receiving terminal voice input signals 6a-6e from each video conference terminal equipment. A control information processing section 8 outputs synthesized control information 9 based on the measured results of the section 7 and video signal processing sections 4a-4e perform a contracting and synthesizing processes on displayed pictures based on the information 9. In addition, a control information processing section 8 outputs the information 9 based on a terminal video designating signal as the terminal video designating signals regarding picture displays from each video conference terminal equipment instead of the input signals 6a-6e and the processing sections 4a-4e perform contracting and synthesizing processes on displayed pictures.
