PURPOSE:To readily apply water or a liquid fertilizer and carry out the cultivation of plants with excellent controllability by charging a culture medium composed of special porous grains into a vessel for cultivation equipped with watering hoses capable of dripping the water or liquid fertilizer and drip-watering the culture medium with the water or liquid fertilizer. CONSTITUTION:A culture medium 2 composed of rigid porous grains having pores with <5mum to 1Angstrom diameter is charged into a vessel 1 for cultivating plants equipped with watering hoses 3 capable of dripping water, a liquid fertilizer, etc. A liquid fertilizer feeder 9 capable of mixing the liquid fertilizer in a prescribed proportion into the watering hoses and feeding the water or liquid fertilizer at a constant rate is used to perform drip-watering of the culture medium with the water or liquid fertilizer. Thereby, the cultivation of the plants is carried out. |
