PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensitive recording material which is free from texture fog and has excellent image preservability and high coloring sensitivity by providing a recording layer containing leuco dye, a developer and a durene derivative expressed by a specific formula on a support. CONSTITUTION:Leuco dye, a developer and a durene derivative expressed by formula I [X is an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, and an aralkyl group and an aryl group which may have a substituted group respectively, -COR (R is an alkyl group and an aryl group which may have a substituted group)] are stirred and crushed individually with an aqueous solution of water-soluble polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol as a binder, using a crusher such as a ball mill. Next, each component is blended to prepare an application liquid for recording layer. This application liquid is applied to a support such as synthetic paper or plastic film, and the coat is dried to obtain a laminated recording layer for a thermosensitive recording material. Further, it is possible to laminate an overcoat layer of polymer substance in order to further enhance water- proofness and oil resistance. |
