PURPOSE:To provide a biopsy forcepts for an endoscope, which can collect surely a biopsy tissue being an inspection specimen having a good quality without putting it onto a lesion from the front. CONSTITUTION:The biopsy forceps for an endoscope is provided with a cylindrical cutter 3 opened toward the front in the tip and in which a blade 4 is formed annularly toward the front in its opening outer edge part, an umbrella-like cutter 7 in which a blade 8 is formed annularly toward the oblique rear in the outer edge part and which is provided so as to be freely movable forward/ backward to the further front from the front end of the cylindrical cutter 3, and a connecting shaft 10 which is connected so as to move integrally with the umbrella-like cutter 7 and moves forward/backward in the cylindrical cutter 3 by remote control. Also, this biopsy forceps is provided with a guide means 14 for guiding the connecting shaft 10 so that the shafts of both the cutters 3, 7 are controlled so as not to be inclined relatively within a range in which the umbrella-like cutter 7 is separated by prescribed length from the tip of the cylindrical cutter, and the shafts of both the cutters 3, 7 can be inclined relatively within a range in which the umbrella-like cutter 7 is separated farther than the prescribed length from the cylindrical cutter 3. |
