PURPOSE:To provide a completely electronized election system capable of executing faster, more accurate and safer election processing. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic card previously coded at every voting station is inserted into a card inserting port instead of a voting card and a previously determined candidate's number is inputted by means of a ten-key 9, the number and name of the candidate are displayed, and after depressing a confirming button 15, a voting card on which the number and name of the candidate are printed out is outputted from a printer 17. When the voting card is inserted into a card reader 10 with a character identifying function after entering a circle mark for reconfirmation in the card, the information is stored in a computer, and after completing election, the stored information is transmitted and totalized to/by a computer in the center. |
