AQUEOUS ACRYLIC EMULSION ADHESIVE HAVING IMPROVED WATER-PROOFING AND WATER-RESISTING PROPERTIES AND PREPARATION THEREOF

An aqueous acrylic emulsion adhesive, a method for preparing the adhesive, and a method for fixing a waterproof sheet or mat by using the adhesive are provided to improve waterproofness, adhesive strength and wafer fastness. An aqueous acrylic emulsion adhesive is a polymerization product of an emulsion comprising a base polymer prepared by reacting an acrylic resin and a room temperature crosslinking monomer, an anionic emulsifier and water; and a monomer solution comprising an acrylic monomer, a carbodiimide-based crosslinking agent, a polymerization initiator and water. Preferably the room temperature crosslinking monomer is methylolacrylamide.
