A system and a method for evaluating an R&D(Research And Development) result quantitatively are provided to solve time/spatial restriction and reduce evaluation cost by evaluating a result of each R&D project on the between based on quantitative evaluation rules while guaranteeing objectiveness and precision for evaluating the R&D result and selecting the R&D project. A database(200) collects/stores basic information of each R&D project and evaluation factors for quantitatively evaluating each R&D project by analyzing information received from a user or manager terminal(10,30) connected through the network(20). An R&D evaluation grading server(100) determines/presents an evaluation grade of each R&D project by calculating an evaluation score based on the basic information and the evaluation factor of the R&D project, and grading the evaluation score. The R&D evaluation grading server includes an R&D project analyzing/inputting module(110), an R&D project result registering module(120), an evaluation score calculating module(130) and an evaluation grading module(140).
