PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image removing device capable of preventing failures due to edge folding of a recording medium after an image formation substance is removed. SOLUTION: This image removing device 100 has an edge folding correcting part 25, which is an edge folding correction means. Even when the edge folding occurs in a paper P, which is a recording medium, before the image removing device 100 processes it, the edge folding can be corrected, so as to make the paper P after the image formation substance is removed by the image removing device 100 into an edge folding free condition.
