The tubular construction element has a pipe shaft (3) and pipe ends (4, 5) designed to produce a sealed joint. The pipe shaft is of cement-based concrete and the ends of a chemically resistant concrete with a chemically-resistant layer inside it against which the pipe ends close. A flow resistance improver is fitted in the contact joint, bonded tightly to the layer and the concrete.
