<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing structure capable of contributing to the reduction of the weight of a vehicle and improving positioning performance without applying special processing to a supporting member side. <P>SOLUTION: A hub unit bearing is composed of flanges 6 protruding radially outward provided in a plurality of locations in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral face, an outer ring 4 connected and fixed to a knuckle N via the flanges 6, and a hub 2 fitted to the outside of an axle, rotatably supported with a rolling element 5 interposed between itself and the outer ring 4, and connected and fixed to a wheel side. Each of the plurality of flanges 6 has a stepped face 13 having an L-shape in cross sectional view composed of an axial face 13a and a radial face 13b as a guiding face during the mounting of the flanges 6 on the knuckle N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
