<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for evaluating the effects of hair cosmetic materials on the damage of hair and determining the effects of the hair cosmetic materials, by dividing the damaged regions of hair into an interior and an exterior surface by the hair cosmetic materials. <P>SOLUTION: Hair different in damage degree is first prepared by a bleaching agent constituted of a permanent agent, constituted of a reducing agent and an oxidizing agent or the oxidizing agent and the infrared-absorbing spectra of the hair internally damaged by the reducing agent and the oxidizing agent and the hair, of which the surface is damaged by the oxidizing agent are measured noninvasively. First and second main components obtained by the main component analysis in multivariate analysis as statistical processing are set as two axes on a coordinates plane to discriminate whether there is a repairing and improving effect, with respect to the inside or surface of hair from a change in the coordinates position of hair that is damaged before and after the treatment of the hair cosmetics material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
