PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroplastic coated roller designed such that a coating layer for an extremely thin fluoroplastic tube is formed as the outermost layer, coating and durability are highly balanced, and excellent functions are exhibited where this roller is used for each of various belt members or used as a roller member in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The fluoroplastic coated roller has a layer structure in which a rubber layer and a fluoroplastic layer are formed in that order on a roller substrate. In the fluoroplastic coated roller, the fluoroplastic layer is a covering layer for the fluoroplastic tube, which has thickness≥10μm but <20μm.
