摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a thin type display device from falling down by fixing it to an installation base using a key-shaped lock mechanism provided thereto, and to turn off the power source of the thin type display device when it falls down by providing the key-shaped lock mechanism with a sensor which detects a falling-down state. SOLUTION: The thin type display device is equipped with a support arm supporting a display unit, a support leg connecting with the support arm and opposed to the installation base 709, and a falling-down preventing mechanism provided to the support arm and/or the support leg, and the falling-down preventing mechanism has a key-shaped part 706 which elastically deforms and a compression spring 703 which energizes the key-shaped part toward the installation base and also has the power supply sensor 705 which turns off the power source of the thin type display device when the support leg is installed abnormally on the installation base, and the key-shaped part 706 is locked in a hole part of the installation base to lock the support leg to the installation base.
