PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stack arbitrary number of signatures erected and discharged from a folding machine in the erected condition, and accurately transfer them to a signature binding part. SOLUTION: Along a stacking table 33 having a signature carrying-in part 30 for erecting and carrying in a signature P<SB>0</SB>and a signature stacking part 31 for sequentially stacking the carried-in signature transferred by a pusher plate 36 while holding the state where the signature is erected and abuts on a holding plate 42, a signature bundle transferred by a push-out rod 38 and stacked on the signature stacking part 31 is carried in. A binding table 34 having a binding part 32 for caulking and binding the signature bundle by a fixed press plate 50 and a moving press plate 51 is made movable. The holding plate 42 is stopped and fixed on the extension line of the fixed press plate 50 of which position is fixed, and meanwhile, stacked signatures are transferred to the binding table 34 by the push-out rod 38.
