PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a logical disk as usable after creation as in a normal state without using a table. SOLUTION: A controller 13 creates a logical disk 11 for associatively storing data and redundant data of the data. The controller 13 sets a normal state of the logical disk 11 in a memory 131. The controller 13 executes a patrol process of checking whether or not the redundant data of the data stored in the logical disk 11 is consistent. If the redundant data of the data is inconsistent, the controller 13 generates redundant data of the data.
