PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device having improved productivity with higher assembling work efficiency. SOLUTION: The bearing device 10 comprises: a rolling bearing 11 having a locking groove 19 formed in the outer periphery of an outer ring 13; and a fixed plate 12 fitted to the outer periphery of the outer ring 13 and having locked protrusions 21a, 21b on the inner periphery, to be locked to the locking groove 19 when fitted. The fixed plate 12 has: plate pieces 12a, 12b split into two in the circumferential direction; a fitting portion 22 formed at the split end of the plate piece 12a; and a fitted portion 23 formed in the split end of the plate piece 12b to connect the plate pieces 12a, 12b to each other with the fitting portion 22 of the plate piece 12a fitted thereto in the axial direction. On the inner periphery of the plate piece 12a, the locked protrusion 21a is formed almost all over the length. The plate piece 12b has the locked protrusion 21b formed on a portion excluding both circumferential ends of the inner periphery, and it is elastically deformed at its split end in the axial direction in the state where the locked protrusion 21b is locked to the locking groove 19.
