PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the output of a V type engine, to attain a structure in which heat generated from an exhaust device is hardly transmitted to a peripheral part, and to enhance the durability of the exhaust device, regarding the exhaust device for the vehicle equipped with the V type engine. SOLUTION: In the exhaust device for the vehicle, a transmission and a transfer device are connected, in series, to the V type engine in which an output shaft is directed in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and the transmission and the transfer device are arranged in a tunnel formed so as to be projected to the upper side of the vehicle at a central part of the floor of the vehicle. A pair of exhaust pipes are connected to respective banks of the V type engine, and the exhaust pipes are gathered at a gathering part arranged below the floor and are extended to a rear side of the vehicle. The gathering part is arranged at a side part in a vehicle width direction of the transfer device in such a state that a part is positioned below the tunnel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
