Process to fabricate components by hot-sprayed application e.g. of metal powder and non-compaction surface profiling with ultra-sharp tools

In a process to fabricate components by hot-sprayed application e.g. of metal powder in which the powder is compacted by kinetic action, followed by milling to shape. In the milling process there is no compression of the solid material arising from the cutting process. The two-stage milling process employs super-sharp tools with a suitable cutting geometry.
