PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the controllability and stability of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The steering control device of a vehicle comprises a steering angle changing mechanism 13 for changing a steering angle of a steering wheel 12 in response to a target steering angle input in a steering part 11 in a vehicle 10, a steering force detection means 21 for detecting steering force input in a steering part 11, a vehicle speed detection means 22 for detecting vehicle speed, a steering force adjusting mechanism 14 for driving the steering angle changing mechanism 13 by assisting driving force in response to the steering force and vehicle speed, a steering angular speed detection means 24 for detecting steering angular speed of the steering part 11, a rear wheel slip angular speed acquisition means 47 for acquiring slip angular speed of the rear wheels on the basis of steering angular speed of the steering part and vehicle speed, and a correction means 48 for executing correction through which the assisting driving force by the steering force adjusting mechanism is reduced in accordance with the increase in the rear wheel slip angular speed.
