PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rate detector normally functioning without erroneous detection on an angular rate, sensor damage, or the like, even if it is used by being mounted on a flying body. SOLUTION: A rate sensor 14a which is a component of a rate sensor assembly 14 is mounted on a box-shaped casing via a vibration absorbing material 14c while the sensor assembly 14 is fixed to a support member 13 mounted on a base 12 via a vibration absorbing material 15. Since vibration of the flying body specific thereto is absorbed by the absorbing material 15 and the absorbing material 14c, the rate sensor 14a normally functions without erroneous detection on the angular rate, sensor damage, or the like.
