A light emitting diode is provided to form a light emitting diode capable of emitting low brightness even in a relatively high supply current by using a brightness reducing part. A diode chip(130) emits blue light or green light. A lower substrate supports the diode chip. A brightness reducing part(150) reduces the brightness of blue or green light emitted from the diode chip. The brightness reducing part can include a phosphor(151) and an electronic wave shielding material(153). The phosphor is excited by the blue or green light emitted from the diode chip to emit green light. The electronic wave shielding material absorbs the light emitted from the diode chip and the phosphor. |
