<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech reproduction device capable of outputting both speech data read from a built-in ROM and speech data supplied from outside in real time. <P>SOLUTION: The speech reproduction device 10 comprises: the built-in ROM 20 in which the speech data is stored; a reproduction object storage buffer 40; a speech reproduction section 50 for reproducing and outputting the speech data stored in the reproduction object storage buffer, by changing it to a format which can be output; and a command processing section 30 which determines, based on the command received from a host, whether the speech data in the built-in ROM is read and reproduced, or the speech data attached to the command is reproduced, and which stores the reproduction object speech data in the reproduction object storage buffer, based on the determination result. The command processing section 30 stores the attached speech data in the reproduction object storage buffer 40, when the reproduction command with attached data is received, and it reads the speech data in the built-in ROM 20, and stores the read speech data in the reproduction object storage buffer, when the built-in ROM data reproduction command is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
