PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control start and end of picture-in-picture at a BD-ROM. SOLUTION: Sub Path information contains synchronization information which is set to a non-fixed value to set as a synchronization time point a time point when a user performs prescribed operation during reproduction of a main reproduction section and instructs a reproduction device to start picture-in-picture, and end point information which instructs the reproduction device to stop picture-in-picture in accordance with which time point a reproduction time point passes during picture-in-picture reproduction.
