SCROLL COMPRESSOR

A scroll compressor is provided to separate a driving motor of a casing from a compression appliance unit and to install an oil preventing plate capable of restricting the movement of oil to the compression appliance unit, so that oil is prevented from flowing into a compression chamber. A scroll compressor includes a casing(10), a driving motor(20), a compression unit, and an oil preventing unit(100). The casing includes a sealed internal space to contain oil. The driving motor is installed in the internal space of the casing. The compression unit is installed at an internal space of the casing to form a compression chamber(P) with a plurality of scrolls(31,32). The oil preventing unit is interposed between the driving motor and the compression unit. The oil preventing unit prevents oil from flowing into the compression unit.
