<p>A mobile terminal and a method of providing information on function keys of the mobile terminal are provided to allow the user to know the function and operation of a function key correctly by providing text information on the function key to the user. A touch of a predetermined function key on a touch screen(100) is sensed. Explanation for the function key is displayed on the touch screen.
