<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sensor element having a baking process wherein each ceramic molding arranged so as to cover each pin erected on a setter body does not fall. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the sensor element (oxygen sensor element or the like) has a process for arranging and baking each ceramic molding 1' (comprising zirconia or the like) used for manufacturing a ceramic sintered compact constituting the sensor element having a bottomed cylindrical solid electrolyte body extending in the axial direction and having a collar part projecting in the radial direction, an outside electrode formed on its outside, and an inside electrode formed on its inside, so as to cover each rod-shaped pin 3 (comprising alumina or the like) erected on a sheath 2 for baking (comprising a porous ceramic sintered compact or the like), and so that the pin does not project to the bottom part side from a pre-baking collar part which becomes the collar part after baking of the ceramic molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
