PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking support device capable of effectively reducing an error of picking work of a worker. SOLUTION: A display responding device 10 is provided on each of storage parts 2 of a storage shelf 1 on this picking supporting device, and a picking display to light and indicate the storage part 2 to pick to the worker, a numerical display to display the picking number and a completion switch to generate a signal to show completion of picking are provided on each of the display responding devices 10. A shutout arm 15 is mounted on a front surface of each of the storage parts 2 of the storage shelf 1 so as to cut out or open the front surface by an arm driving mechanism. The arm driving mechanism normally stops the shutout arm 15 at a cutout position and actuates the shutout arm 15 to an open position when picking information of an article is transmitted to the display responding device 10.
