PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of reliably allowing a person to understand that packaging paper sheets are carried. SOLUTION: In the packaging container 1 equipped with a bottom face plate, right and left side face plates, a top face plate 4, a back face plate and a front face plate while the front face plate is opened to take out a chewing gum stored therein, a middle partition plate 7 is arranged with a predetermined space from the top face plate 4. When a locking plate 10 and the front face plate are turned, side end parts of the front face plate of the top face plate 4, and side end parts of the margin of the right and left side face plates are separated along a cutout and along an inclined cutout, respectively, an upper end part of a packaging paper sheet 100 stored between the top face plate 4 and the middle partition plate 7 is exposed from a take-out notch part 4x formed by the side end parts on the front face plate separated along the cutout. Thus, the packaging paper sheet 100 stored in a space formed between the top face plate 4 and the middle partition plate 7 can be exposed from the take-out notch part 4x to understand the presence of the packaging paper 100.
