PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head that can suppress deposition of ink mist due to continuous adhesion without interrupting a recording operation even when the ink mist adheres on an orifice plate, in particular, a portion between ejection nozzle arrays. SOLUTION: A recording head 13 is provided with a collection hole 22 communicating with a common liquid chamber 21 for collecting ink adhering on the orifice plate 14 to the inner section of the common liquid chamber 21.
