PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device for a medium to be recorded which can suppress the occurrence of skewing of the medium when a leading end of the medium reaches discharge driving rollers, and which can reduce the risk of formation of a boundary in a recording image or the occurrence of distortion in recording. SOLUTION: The conveyance device is equipped with both a discharge roller which has a plurality of the discharge driving rollers and coupled-driving discharge rollers, and a medium-side guide means which regulates a conveyance route of the medium to be positioned symmetrically with regards to a breadthwise center line of the medium. A load applying means is installed at a position at the upstream of the discharge roller and in agree with the breadthwise center line of the conveyed medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
