PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of effectively preventing dust from leaking from the outer periphery of a filter at removing air including dust. SOLUTION: The dust collector 101 is provided with a dust cup 150, a cover part 130, the filter 121 and a seal member 123. The cup 150 is provided with an intake 151 for introducing air including dust and an opening 152 for discharging air and accumulates dust separated from air. The filter 121 is approximately cylindrically formed and rotatable around its center shaft. The cover part 130 is provided with a cylindrical opening 131 having the filter 121 inside and a vertical, flat and ringed inner part 132 provided around the shaft of the filter 121 joining with the opening 131 and fixed to the opening 152 of the cup 150. The seal member 123 is fixed to the outer periphery 121a of the filter 121 to seal a gap between the periphery 121a of the filter 121 and the opening 131 of the cover part 130 by being pressed to the ringed inner part 132 of the cover part 130.
