摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer secondary battery with high energy density. <P>SOLUTION: In the secondary battery having a positive electrode with a conductive polymer material, a positive electrode piled material layer 12 is integrally formed on a separator 4. It is preferable to form the positive electrode without using a current collector. Specially, a conventional positive electrode active material is deficient in strength and conductivity, and a shape of the positive electrode is maintained in order to perform the giving and taking of ions so that an active material layer formed of a mixture of the positive electrode active material and a conductive material is applied and formed on the surface of the current collector formed by a thin film such as aluminum. Further, the current collector can be omitted or miniaturized so that the conductive polymer material is made conductive. The strength of the positive electrode having a conductive polymer material becomes sufficient by forming the positive electrode integrated with a separator though the strength of the positive electrode only is not sufficient. The omission or miniaturization of the current collector can be led to the improvement of energy density since the separator is a conventional structural element and not a new additive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
