PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of making saturation adjustments of image data for hues using a multi-dimensional lookup table with simple processing. SOLUTION: Saturation adjustment characteristic data are stored for hue regions, and output values of the multi-dimensional lookup table for conversion of a coloration system of image data are rewritten for the hue regions Z with the saturation adjustment characteristic data to make saturation adjustments with adjustment characteristics for the hue regions. Then division grating points in a coordinate space of a lightness-hue-saturation system which are input values to the multi-dimensional lookup table are vertexes of a sectorial column and an arcuate trapezoidal column E comprising lightness of unit height, hue of unit angle width, and saturation of unit length.
