PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine in which seal members such as a bellows hardly wear. SOLUTION: The drum-type washing machine 1 has a casing 10 having a structure in which a front panel 12 and a design panel 13 are fastened with a screw 80 in front of the same, an outer tank 20 arranged in the casing 10 and holding washing water or rinsing water, a rotary drum 30 arranged rotatably in the outer tank 20 and housing the laundry W, a circular bellows 50 sealing the gap between the casing 10 and the outer tank 20. The bellows 50 has a thin flexible portion 52 deforming following the outer tank 20 vibrating owing to the rotation of the rotary drum 30 and a rib 53 preventing the flexible portions 52 from contacting the screw 80. The surface 12a of the portion not to be fastened of the front panel 12 arranged in bellows 50 side is a concave face such that the screw 80 does not protrude. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
