The truck (1) has a drive motor designed in the form of an electric motor and/or hydraulic motor for driving a wheel (4). A generator unit (3) such as internal combustion engine e.g. diesel engine with generator or hydraulic pump, produces electrical or hydraulic drive power driving the truck. A loading area (2) accommodating or loading articles is provided in a reference condition. An extension unit (6) including an auxiliary loading area (11) is provided to extend the loading area in an extension condition. The area (11) is partially arranged below the area (2) in the reference condition.
