<p>A display apparatus capable of displaying an image according to the position of the main body of the display apparatus is provided to sense the position of the main body of the display apparatus to display images corresponding to the position automatically and improve a sensor to increase a response speed of display calibration. A display apparatus includes a rotatable main body(210) for displaying images, a support for supporting the main body, a display unit, a fixed part(303), a rotating part(305), a sensor(307), a position determination unit, and a display controller. The display unit is included in the main body and displays the images. The fixed part is fixed to the main body. The rotating part is connected to the fixed part and is rotated around the fixed part when the main body rotates. The sensor is included in the main body and senses rotation of the rotating part according to rotation of the main body. The position determination unit determines the position of the main body based on the sensing result of the sensor. The display controller controls a display mode of the display unit according to the position of the main body, determined by the position determination unit.</p> |
