PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus in which a lens is highly accurately positioned relative to a solid-state imaging element. SOLUTION: A camera module 100a has a lens unit 10a which has the lens 11 and a lens holder 12 holding the lens 11 inside; and an imaging unit 20a having the solid-state imaging element 24 and a light-transmissive lid part 26 which faces a light receiving surface of the solid-state imaging element 24 and is disposed so as to form a sealed space S with the solid-state imaging element 24. The light-transmissive lid part 26 and the lens 11 are independent of each other, and the lens 11 is disposed on the light-transmissive lid part 26 to thereby cause the light-transmissive lid part 26 and lens holder 12 to engage with each other, thereby positioning the lens 11 relative to the solid-state imaging element 24.
