<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which aims to improve interest and a game system. <P>SOLUTION: In the game system 220, the main CPU 32 of a slot machine 210 makes a slot game (first game) progress in accordance with a first game program 33a of a RAM 33. When the payout rate of the slot machine 210 exceeds a reference value, the slot machine 210 downloads a second game program different from the first game program 33a from a game server 200 by a communication processing section 211, the main CPU 32 makes the second game progress by running the program.
