PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of eliminating a blind zone of wireless communication at a low cost, with less work. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system according to the present invention comprises a first wireless base station connected to public lines, a second wireless base station not connected to the public lines, and a leakage transmission path for operating as an antenna for at least one of the first and the second wireless base stations. A wireless communication area concerning the first wireless base station has an overlapping part with a wireless communication area concerning the second wireless base station. When a wireless communication terminal is located in the wireless communication area of the second wireless base station, the wireless communication terminal can utilize communication between base stations by a repeater function at the first and the second wireless base stations to communicate with the public lines.
