摘要

A radiation image conversion panel excellent in light emission efficiency and photostimulated luminescence take-out efficiency and producing an image of good granularity and sharpness. The radiation image conversion panel has a phosphor layer composed of columnar crystal containing phosphor formed on a support and covered with a protective layer. Average columnar diameter at a part of 5-15% of the film thickness of the phosphor layer from the protective layer side is larger than that at a part of 0-15% of the film thickness from the support side, occupation rate of the phosphor at the part of 5-15% of the film thickness from the protective layer side is 80-90% and occupation rate of the phosphor at the part of 0-15% of the film thickness from the support side is 60-75%.
