PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information service system which appropriately balancing reduction in computational processing load and increase in estimation precision of a required time. SOLUTION: The information service system for estimating the amount of time required from the place of departure up to a destination, and providing its information to a user, includes a required time calculation means for calculating the required time on the basis of congestion conditions at the time of the departure from the departure place, concerning each link on a route from the departure place up to the destination, a required time correction means for correcting the required time calculated by the required time calculation means by multiplying the required time by a congestion inclination coefficient representing a change in the congestion conditions, concerning an outside-range link not being in the designated range from the departure place, among individual links on the route from the departure place up to the destination, and an information service means for providing to a user information on the sum of the required time concerning an inside-range link within the prescribed range from the departure place and the required time corrected by the required time correction means concerning the outside-range link, as an estimated required time from the departure place up the destination.
