FIELD: transport engineering; railless vehicles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed coupler gear for passenger car and trailer includes ball head rigidly secured on bracket installed on car and engaged with body of lock device mounted on trailer pole. Ball head consists of two parts. Lower part is made integral with coupler gear bracket. Upper part is installed for movement in trailer pole bracket. Lower part is provided with round projection over entire inner flat surface, and upper part is provided with mating recess. Both said parts of ball head have vertical coaxial holes into which cylindrical connecting pin is fitted engaging with ball lock of car coupler gear bracket. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability of passenger car coupler gear. ^ 1 dwg |
