PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition reflection plate manufacturing method and a radiation detector capable of enhancing detection accuracy in radiation detection. SOLUTION: This method is a method for manufacturing a partition reflection plate having a reflection plate body composed of an optical film having elasticity and light reflecting properties, and a plurality of slits formed at intervals in the reflection plate body. A plurality of housing sections for housing scintillators can be formed by combining a plurality of such partition reflection plates so that their slits engage with each other, and the method has a cutting step of forming the slits by cutting the optical film with a cutting blade. The cutting blade has an acute cutting tip part 13, and a blade edge part 12 stretching along the side surfaces from the tip part 13. In the partition reflection plate manufacturing method, the cutting step has a stabbing step of rupturing the optical film by stabbing the tip part 13 into a rupturing position of the optical film to rupture the optical film, and a moving step of moving the cutting blade so as to cut the optical film by the edge part 12.
