PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for a vehicle for performing proper driving support regardless of weather. SOLUTION: When driving support is started, a control device 20 of a driving support device 100 for a vehicle decides whether or not predetermined conditions are satisfied by weather (steps S20, S21), and when the predetermined conditions are satisfied by weather, the peripheral image of a vehicle is picked up by a camera 40, and the image is displayed at a display monitor 140 of a display device 14 (step S22), and when the predetermined conditions are not satisfied by weather, the past image corresponding to the current location and direction of the vehicle is extracted from among images stored in a storage device 50 (steps S24, S25), and the past image and the detection result of a current supersonic sensor 30 are displayed at the display monitor 140 of the display device 14 (steps S26 to S30).
