The present invention concerns an electrical outlet system comprising an elongated housing extending along a centre axis, a plurality of electrical outlet sockets, and means for connecting said system to a mains supply, wherein said plurality of electrical outlet sockets each are provided with a permanently angular displacement relative to the center axis of the housing provided at two or more different angular displacements. By having permanently angular displaced sockets, these may be connected via electrode bars preferable manufactured in one piece. The electrical outlet system according to the invention therefore requires minimal assembly resulting in a simplified production and reduction in cost.
