PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation in manually sifting a continuously variable transmission to a desired gear ratio. SOLUTION: A manual shift command means for selectively commanding that the gear ratio of a continuously variable transmission is changed in the increasing direction or in the decreasing direction of the basis of the manual operation of a driver, a target value setting means for increasing or decreasing an objective value of the control amount relating to the shift of the continuously variable transmission by the specified amount on the basis of a signal of the manual shift command means and a manual shift control means for controlling the shift control amount of the continuously variable transmission in preference to automatic control on the basis of a signal from the target value setting means are provided.
