PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a turbo machine front portion (1) comprising an internal support shroud (10) for fan outlet guide vanes (12), and a flow splitter fairing (14) from which an annular primary duct (16) and an annular secondary duct (18) originate. SOLUTION: The front portion further comprises at least one deflector system (30) intended to prevent/limit the ingress of hail inside the primary duct. The system (30) comprises at least one deflecting surface (32) together with an actuator (34) for moving the surface (32) from a retracted position to a deployed position for deflecting the hail. The system (30) is mounted on the shroud (10) such that, in the deployed position, a downstream end (62) of the surface (32) is situated upstream of the splitter fairing (14).
